It works, and is relatively simpler to use (a DAW is never easy though, even doing the basic stuff like recording or writing a note is usually more complicated that it seems). Yes, the interface is not perfect and there are alternatives even more powerful, but for the price and mellower learning curve I liked and still like it a lot This doesn’t mean that it lacks features, however, especially if you’re into certain kind of music (more towards electronic and such than symphonic or such). Unless you have very specific needs not covered but FL Studio (unlikely), why go overboard with apps that are too complicated even to do the basic stuff when FL Studio just works?įL Studio is quite easy to get started with, from deployment to basic config and the first note recorded it is much less overwhelming than other more complicated alternatives.
There are better alternatives in theory, but it depends very much on your needs and commitment.
